Description

Breast Centre at Ratchaphruek Hospital

Ratchaphruek Hospital's Breast Clinic stands out for its comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating breast-related conditions. Our clinic is equipped with a team of highly specialized medical professionals including breast surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and experts in chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Together, we collaborate to offer personalized care plans that meet international standards.

We specialize in treating a variety of breast anomalies such as tumors, mastitis, and complications from fibrocystic changes. Our approach often preserves the breast in early-stage cancer cases, utilizing advanced radiological treatments to avoid complete removal whenever possible. Additionally, we offer reconstructive breast surgery to maintain the breast's natural appearance post-treatment.

   Breast Disease Diagnosis
At Ratchaphruek Hospital, we utilize state-of-the-art digital mammography and ultrasound technology to detect breast diseases at their earliest stages. Our digital mammography produces high-quality images that enhance diagnostic accuracy, supported by our skilled team of female radiologic technicians who ensure examinations are both gentle and swift.

Breast cancer remains the most prevalent cancer among women, but early detection significantly increases the chances of a permanent cure. Regular screening is crucial and should be conducted by experienced specialists.

   Services and Facilities

  • Core needle biopsy with or without ultrasound guidance

  • Needle (Hook wire) localization with excisional biopsy

   Who Should Be Examined?

   Advantages of Digital Mammography

  • Provides highly precise images that clearly distinguish between normal and abnormal tissues.

  • Enables quicker and more accurate treatment decisions by physicians.

   Preparing for a Mammogram

  • Avoid using talcum powder, deodorants, or lotions around the armpits and breasts on the day of the test, as these can interfere with the images.

  • Schedule the mammogram for one week after the onset of your menstrual period to minimize discomfort and avoid testing during a potential early pregnancy.

At Ratchaphruek Hospital's Breast Clinic, our goal is to provide meticulous, empathetic care using the latest technologies and treatments, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
