A: While the hospital cannot directly process visa applications, we can provide you with an invitation letter confirming your appointment, which you can use to support your visa application.

Q: How do I make an appointment at Ratchaphruek Hospital?
 

A: You can filling out an online appointment form on our website.

Insurance and Payment

Q: What type of International health Insurance does Ratchaphruek Hospital accept?
 

A: We work with any many international insurance providers. We recommend contacting your insurance company prior to your visit to confirm coverage and get pre-authorization if necessary. (please see the question below)

Q: What kind of information do I need for the International health Insurance?
 

A: When you are treated by a hospital and you have insurance that may cover the costs, the hospital will typically ask for several pieces of information relating to your insurance:

-  Name of the Insurance company

-  Policy number

-  Coverage Information: What treatment and services are covered under your policy.

We may ask some more information, so if you have insurance, the best you bring a copy of your policy or an insurance card.

Q: If I don't have health insurance, can the hospital accept me without a health insurance?

 

A: Yes, Ratchaphruek Hospital welcomes all patients, regardless of their health insurance status. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare. If you do not have health insurance, our staff will discuss self-payment options with you. We offer a variety of payment methods for your convenience, including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Our team is dedicated to providing you with clear information about the costs of your treatment and will support you in making informed decisions regarding your healthcare services. Please contact our department for more information on our self-payment options and how we can assist you in planning for your healthcare needs.

Q: What forms of payment does Ratchaphruek Hospital accept?
 

A: We accept various forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. Please be advised that payments are to be made in Thai Baht or as per the hospital's exchange rate policy.

Q: Does Ratchaphruek Hospital offer accommodation for patients' families?
 

A: Yes, Ratchaphruek Hospital offers accommodation options at the hospital for the families of our patients. We understand the importance of having loved ones close by during medical treatment. For the comfort and convenience of your family members, we have provisions for on-site accommodation subject to availability.

Additionally, if you prefer hotel accommodations, we are pleased to introduce you to our partner hotels. We have Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with a selection of hotels that offer preferred rates and services to the families of our patients. Our patient services team is available to assist you with booking and any other requirements you may have to ensure a comfortable stay for you and your family.

Q: For my family, are there any short trips they can go on in Khon Kaen while I am receiving treatment?

Aftercare

Q: What follow-up care is available after I return to my home?
 

A: We recommend scheduling follow-up appointments with your local healthcare provider. However, our doctors can also provide remote consultations to discuss your progress, if necessary.

Q: Can Ratchaphruek Hospital provide medical reports in English?

A: Yes, we can provide detailed medical reports and discharge summaries in English upon request.
